RE: SAP appeal for Spring 2027

Dear Committee Members,

I am writing to appeal the suspension of my federal financial aid. During
the Spring 2026 term I withdrew from three courses after my father lost his
job in February. Our household income dropped from about $61,000 to roughly
$23,500 for the year, and I took a second job working 32 hours a week to
help cover rent and my younger sister's childcare. I could not keep up with
my lab hours and fell below the 67 percent completion requirement.

My father started a new position in August, and I have reduced my work
schedule to 18 hours a week. I met with my advisor, Ms. Whitfield, and we
built an academic plan that limits me to 9 credit hours in Spring 2027 and
includes weekly tutoring in the Learning Commons.

I have attached my father's termination letter, his new offer letter, my
pay stubs, and my signed academic plan. I would be grateful for the chance
to continue my program.

Sincerely,
Jordan T. Ellery
